This product is really for someone who just wants the look. After going off road once, the factory struts could not take the 3"" extension and ended up leaking severely. If you plan on going off road, then get a product that includes longer springs and the appropriate shocks for the extra height. I ended up replacing these very quickly and installed Fox 2.0 system. The product is a simple yet sturdy design. The added height gives me the extra clearance to eliminate some of the skid plate dings and scrapes while off road. The install instructions were much more complicated than needed. All you need to do is disconnect the sway bar links, loosen the upper control arm, remove the two lower control arm bolts (mark the cam location on both the bolt and nut washer for reinstall), and the strut can be removed. (no need to separate the tie rods or upper ball joint or remove the spindle nut..). On the rear, no need to remove wheels or disconnect shock.. just remove old u bolt, jack vehicle up (i used the ford jack on the frame near the passenger door area) and raise until you can slide the spacer in. Lower vehicle, install new u bolt and your done...
