Wiring your Toyota Electric E-Locker? We make it easy for you with these back-lit Locker specific rocker switches. There is a lot of misinformation surrounding the operation of Toyota E-locker motors, including a popular belief that they can not be operated by simple switches.
We have used DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) switches for years on these lockers and they work great. We like these switches because they make your dash look clean!
Specifications:
- Rear Toyota E-Locker Switch
- DPDT Momentary ON/OFF/ON momentary switch.
- Single independently wired incandescent light.
- No rear barrier between terminals.
- Rated 20A at 12V
- Rear Locker marking
- Mounting hole should be .830 inch x 1.45 inch
- Can be used in panels up to .25 inch thick
Please note that these switches are meant to be wired independently from the factory Toyota wiring. They are not meant for use with the factory e-locker controller. You will need the short harness to the differential, available here at Low Range. Usually, our customers use 6 lead wire available at trailer supply stores and splice into the factory differential harness.
We normally offer 8 pin switches. Depending on availability, our switches may have 10 pins on the back. The extra two pins are on the bottom and can be used for an extra light by wiring power and ground.
