Well made, but the spout was hard to use. I ordered a Self-Venting Spout and hopefully everything is good.

It fits where I wanted it. This is great.

Mounted easy and secure. The spout that comes with it I've heard is a pain to use. I haven't tried it yet though. Thought about buying another spout for it, but I've heard those may leak. I figured I'd wait to see if it's really a pain to use the spout.

This is my first Rotopax product and it will not be my last. This container is solid and they did not skip on the amount of plastic they use. It feels like it will last a long time. There are less costly alternatives but in this case, you truly get what you pay for.

These are very rugged and to my knowledge, are the only product offering suitable for hard mounting on off-road vehicles. That being said, I have one major complaint...the fuel nozzle. As anyone who has used these know, the flow rate is so dismally slow that most people (self included) refuse to use it and instead buy a separate nozzle. There needs to be a better balance between safety and usability, as this just does not cut it.

I bought this gas container for my off-road trips and I'm very happy with it. It's well-made, leak-proof, and easy to mount on my vehicle. The spout is included and works great, no spills or drips. The container is also EPA and CARB compliant, which is important for me as an environmentally conscious consumer. The 3 gallon capacity is enough for my needs, but I like that I can also stack other RotopaX containers if I need more fuel or water. The red color is also nice and visible, so I don't have to worry about losing it in the wilderness. Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable and durable gas container for their adventures.

The RXLox with the Range Industries F150 mounts and the 3-gallon RotoPax is just want I wanted. Perfect fit. I took some time to heavily grease the locking mechanism due to the rust-in-place complaints. Fortunately mine are covered so hopefully there won't be issue.A couple of tips:1. If you have these in the heat they will pressurize and swell a bit. Before you try to remove them crack the lid and let some pressure off. This will make the locks not as tight.2. In 110* F heat you don't want to be trying to figure out those silly locking fill nozzles which only flow as fast as old man pee-pee anyway. Get a proper funnel that fits your vehicle and just pour it in.3. I haven't done this yet but if you do decide to use the nozzle, these cans could really use an air bleed. I haven't tapped one because with using a funnel they flow just fine.

These are the BEST auxillary portablegas cans on the market, and are sturdy thick plastic cans which are mountable to the optional RotoPax twist lock mounts. The have a recessed mounting hole to fit any of the RotoPax mounts and hold a full 3 gallons of fuel. The only down side to these it the pour spouts, which seem to be more susceptable to breaking and jamining when filling, but they are easily and cheaply replcable. I carry these two cans on my Jet-Ski for extra distance and safety fto make sure I do not run out away from home. These are a must for any offroader, or boater to ensure you have extra fuel should the need arise. These tanks will supply a healthy resource and can take a beating even in direct sunblight, and will wear forever.
