High quality and love not having to carry an additional key. It is quite wide and could interfere if you don't have a lot of room on one side for the lock to slide on and off while also getting you ignition key into the lock.

I really like the convenience of having one key. The down side is the lock and pin block the hole where my safety chains connect to the hitch.It seems very well constructed, good weight.

Easy not need other key

This is a great idea. I cannot unlock my hitch pin with my truck key which is so much easier to get to than looking for another key. The lock was very easy to set up with my truck key. I highly recommend this product. Very well made. Worth the price....

Two for a Tacoma which I sold and one for the Tundra I now own, I currently also own a padlock and trailer ball lock. Very happy with this working with existing car key (no need add another key. I was skeptical, but it works exactly as described. Will buy again and recommend this product to anyone who need a receiver lock.

Matching it up to your key is a very simple process and it does work however the lock portion of this pin is so large that it sometimes makes it difficult to get large trailer hook chains through the holes on the trailer hitch. Simple fix was adding some high strength quick link to my hitch so that there is more space to hook up the chain. The red pin lock blocked access to the hole on the hitch. Might not be a problem for some vehicles but on my tundra it is.

Could not be more happy to find locks that take the same key. I installed this and a few days later pulled a 10000 lb load and it held the hitch much better than I thought. Recommend!!!
