I can't say that I've seen an increase in mileage. I've also got a pedal commander, a flash cal module and an exhaust. This intake makes the 3.6 sound a bit more throaty.

I have always been skeptical of cold air intakes, but I noticed some lag coming from my 16' 4-door wrangler rubicon after a 2.5 inch lift and 33 inch tires. I did the flash cal to calibrate my transmission shift points and that helped a little, but I honestly thought that something might be up withMy transmission because of the slow start coming from 0 and into the 2nd gear of the automatic transmission. This intake added a great noise and Eliminated the lag that I was experiencing in low speeds.The butt Dyno approves. I don't think it has made the Jeep any faster, but it feels much easier to take off from a stop.As for installation, this thing was a freaking peace of cake. A child could install this with a screw driver and a crescent wrench. Took me about 45 minutes start to finish (unpackage, find tools, take out OEM, and install new one).I am a little nervous about one aspect of this intake and that is the open air box. I did 35k on my wrangler and the stock intake box and filter was clean. The open design of the new box does not look like it will protect as well from dust and mud while off roading. Just something to consider, luckily for me it is just a few times a year.

I installed the Banks Ram Air on my 2016 Jeep Jk, and was quickly impressed at the add to my full mileage. I went up almost 2.5 miles to a gallon. Around town I would get 19.2 to 19.6 on average. Now I'm getting 21.2 to 21.8 average around town. Before I would only break 20 mpg it I was doing highway driving, never did I go above 21 mpg. Breaking 21 mpg around town is great. You can hear the air intake but to me it's not that big of a change. As for power the Jeep just feels like it's running smoother stronger. Very happy with this, going to see if they have applications for my pickup and suv.

Not sure yet on long term performance. But install was a breeze, so far no real improvement on the commute. But banks products are dead on so I'm sure it will be worth it. I do know it is better than the stock air box for sure.
