Purchased this for my wife's 2021 Tacoma (she had a step like this on her 2013 Tundra). She loves it, she can get in and out of the truck bed with ease. It is very sturdy and was simple to install (about 30 minutes taking my time).

Relatively easy to install, just had to make minor adjustments to finalize the placement. Pricey but a joy to have the convenience of the step.

Step is great, missing one nut and company has you jump through a bunch of hoops to get a piece that was missing:(

With help of a YouTube video it installed in under 5 minutes, works flawlessly and seems to have a long future with no problems.

This has greatly enhanced the use of the bed on my truck! Installation was a bit tricky, because it's a tight spot to be able to tighten the bolts, but was able to complete without issues. Works extremely well and very satisfied with the product. I can now get into the bed if my truck very easily, with the tailgate up or down. Very good purchase!

I was using a folding step stool to access the bed of my 2017 Tacoma. This bumper step is well made and I had no problems in installing it on my truck. It works great and stays out of way when not in use. My only complaint is that I think that it is overpriced at $250 +. I could not find anything else comparable at a lower price, so I guess you gotta pay if you want it.

Bumper step fit perfectly on my 2022 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab. Install was fairly easy and straight forward. Makes it so easy to step up when my tailgate is laid down.

Step was pretty easy to install. recommend that you tighten the bolts on the sub assembly prior to mounting on the truck. Instructions gave me the impression that they wanted you to tighten everything after it was installed but on the Tacoma I found that some of the bolts were not accessible once mounted to the truck. other than that it's a excellent product very sturdy. I weigh a little over 200 pounds and it supported my weight with no issues

It works great, just pay attention to the install. I did it on freezing ground in single digit weather and did something wrong to where it was crooked, and of course blamed it on the step. Well, it was just me and frostbite sinking in lol. Fixed it once it warmed up and it's perfect. Don't buy the more expensive one from Toyota - it's exactly the same.

I got this for my father-in-law for his Tacoma. It works great but the install is more complicated than it appears. The directions said to assemble the step pieces but leave the bolts finger tight until it was mounted to the truck. The problem is that once it is mounted to the truck, those bolts are extremely difficult to tighten. We ended up removing it from the truck, tightening the bolts and then reattaching it to the truck. I'm not knocking the design, just giving a little warning and insight on the assembly process.

Parts assembled fairly easily but still took several hours to install. Bolt holes were off just enough to cause delays. Once installed easy to use. Good value.

Installation was a bit more difficult than I expected. Can't easily reach the bolts. Instructions need to be a little more clear about when to torque the assembly bolts. Step seems to sag a little when I step on it (205 pounds)

This bed step installs easy and works perfect. I am 62 yrs old and it helps me access the bed of my truck. And with the tailgate down it makes the perfect step stool to enter the truck bed. Just what I needed and wanted. Love it!!!

I like this step a lot. The bracket is 3 pieces. The part that attaches to the frame, the pivot arm and the step.The part that attaches to the frame is made of steel. The arm is made from cast aluminum. The step is made of plastic.I haven't had any issues with it and it seems well made. My main gripe is the price. I don't feel that it is worth it considering that only part of it is made of steel. For the price, this better have a lifetime guarantee.

While I struggled with the high price of this item (all similar items for this truck are the same), once I saw the construction and engineering used in the manufacturing if this product, I decided that it was worth it. And the ease of installation (everything bolted right up to existing holes) just solidified that choice. Think it through before installing, and nothing needs to be removed prior to installation. Great product.
