This cover's heavy duty build gives me confidence when I'm out 4-wheeling and rock crawling. This is replacing the stock on red that got damaged on a rock. I can't see that happening to this solid thick cover.

Great fit and look, refreshed the front end from the rusted OEM diff. My truck was lifted and as a heads up, the ubolts were in the way, had to loosen and shift everything over, this cover is a 1/4 thicker. This does not add any capacity or cooling and being thicker once it heats up likely won't cool as quickly. Overall good cosmetic addition to protect the new Yukon gears in the Excursion.
