Installation was pretty straight forward. The wiring harness seems off. I did do the LED lights and drilled holes in my truck. I sprayed some clear coat on the holes to help lower the chance of rusting. The drivers side harness fits reasonably well but I would still like a few more inches for slack. The Xtreme version is supposed to be for mud and snow, but I don't like how the wires are pulled away from the body where snow or mud could build up and pull on the wires. I had to switch the wires at the gray motor plug because the ramps did the opposite, open the door and the ramp retracted and close the door and it went out (Use a small pick on a tab at the tip of the plug to release the wires. I had to switch orange from the left to the right side of plug). I also had to add jumper wires 3"" for the front and 12"" for the back to lengthen the LED power supply wires, but only on the passenger side. AMP Research answered the phone right away (real person, not a robo menu) and talked me through it. Having to rewire the motors and the overall short length of the harness is why I pulled a star.
