I love the look and safety features, but the Warn Zeon 10S Platinum winch line hoop guard won't fit properly in the hook opening. I'll have to grind down the hoop guard to make it work.

I wish this item was not so expensive but I must say its a very solid product. I like how it pulls up aginst my bumper and I don't have to hook and hang it off of one of my d-rings on my bumper. It looks super clean and I also like there closed loop on the end for pulling instead of using the hook. Get it you won't regret after you get over the sticker shock :-)

Great quality, and looks great on the front of the jeep. The only draw back is Factor 55 should supply an extra snap ring. I broke mine trying to remove it before install. I went to auto parts store and bought a set of snap rings, however they are slightly larger than the snap ring suppled by Factor 55. The snap rings do not fit from the auto parts store. Ended up using the broken 3/4 ring that was supplied. Nothing else would fit. Other than that issue which is probably my own fault not being careful when removing the snap ring. I'm very happy with my purchase and when I see Factor 55 at a event I will enquirer about a spare snap ring.

I installed this on a smittybilt X20 comp with synthetic line. The quality of the coating, the fitment of each part, and the overall feel is amazing. Even the hook latch is machined! There is no play or wobble in the latch. The latch pin has a nice positive detent but is easy to remove. The rope retaining pin is recessed in a blind hole with an internal snap ring.It came with a destructive testing report, and the design was break tested at over 30,000lbs! Everything about this hook gives leads me to believe its going to do the job its designed to do with no compromises. And when its not being used, the lay flat design looks a lot better than hooking a loose rope to a d-ring.
