Does the job nicely

I bought a set of max tax after getting stuck in the sand at the beach in our truck/camper. I never needed them until a few weeks ago. We were chukar hunting in Northern Nevada. We were way out there. The dirt roads were snowy and muddy. We were on a narrow dirt road with a deep rut on one side. We ended up sliding into the rut. I thought would never get out. We positioned the max trax upward and outward from the rut for the front tires and they worked beautifully. Had we not had them we would have been there for days while we waited to get a jeep with a winch out there to pull us out. I thought about going with the cheaper brand but when you need these things, things are already going bad so better to go with the real thing.

I live full time in a 4x4 van. I haven't gotten myself stuck but I've used them on other people s recoveries and they don't bend or crack and still look like new. I use them as leveling blocks too so I don't have to carry those around anymore. After seeing how they work I highly recommend them for the insurance and peace of mind.

I'm fortunate I've never been stuck yet but its an essential recovery equipment to bring when I go overlanding. The quality of this board is excellent.

Max Trax are the original. These are exactly what I expected and received. Although expensive, I chose these because when I'm in need, I need them to get the job done!

This is very handy to have in the snow. I have used it to get my vehicles and neighbor out of the snow.

Best boards out there. Don't go cheap. You need them to work when you actually need them!
